Mobility fund: prosthetic leg for Ezra in London
Help Ezra get a prosthetic leg so He can go to school independently.
🇬🇧 London, England, United KingdomPosted Sep 30, 2026789 views
I live with a spinal cord injury. My occupational therapist at the London Rehabilitation Centre has assessed me and recommended a prosthetic leg. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $5,300.
My current equipment is 14 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 5 weeks.
With the right equipment I could go to school independently. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $5,300 goes:
• First-year servicing plan: $290
• prosthetic leg: $4,900
• Delivery and set-up: $110
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
