Mobility fund: prosthetic leg for Elif in Ankara

Elif lives with muscular dystrophy. The occupational therapist at the Ankara Mobility Clinic has assessed her and recommended a prosthetic leg. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,000.
Her current equipment is 14 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 7 weeks.
With the right equipment Elif could speak with the people around her. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $1,000 goes:
• Delivery and set-up: $45
• prosthetic leg: $920
• First-year servicing plan: $35
