Mobility fund: prosthetic leg for Danielle in San Francisco
A prosthetic leg would give Danielle independence - we're $6,650 away.

I live with a spinal cord injury. My occupational therapist at the San Francisco Rehabilitation Centre has assessed me and recommended a prosthetic leg. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $6,650.
My current equipment is 11 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 7 weeks.
With the right equipment I could go outside without waiting for someone to push. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $6,650 goes:
• prosthetic leg: $6,000
• Fitting and training sessions: $130
• Delivery and set-up: $135
• First-year servicing plan: $385
Thank you so much.

Good luck, Danielle. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. My husband and I read this together.
