Mobility fund: powered wheelchair for Tika in Denpasar
Tika needs a powered wheelchair that the health system won't fund; the cost is $1,200.

I live with muscular dystrophy. My occupational therapist at the Denpasar Mobility Clinic has assessed me and recommended a powered wheelchair. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,200.
My current equipment is 12 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 7 weeks.
With the right equipment I could go to school independently. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $1,200 goes:
• powered wheelchair: $1,100
• Fitting and training sessions: $20
• Delivery and set-up: $20
• First-year servicing plan: $60
If you're reading this, thank you.
Updates from Tika
Quick update: $290 raised so far (24%). the plan for first-year servicing plan is now scheduled. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.

Thinking of you and your family, Tika. Shared this with my family. Take care
Sending good thoughts, Tika. Shared it with a few friends. After 16 years in nursing I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Thinking of Denpasar
