Mobility fund: powered wheelchair for Nipa in Dhaka

Nipa lives with multiple sclerosis. The occupational therapist at Dhaka General Hospital has assessed her and recommended a powered wheelchair. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $650. Her current equipment is 11 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 10 weeks. With the right equipment Nipa could join the school sports day. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
