Mobility fund: powered wheelchair for Kun in Warren
Help Kun get a powered wheelchair so He can go to school independently.
🇺🇸 Warren, Michigan, United States705 views
Kun lives with a rare neuromuscular condition. The occupational therapist at the Warren Mobility Clinic has assessed him and recommended a powered wheelchair. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $800.
His current equipment is 14 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 5 weeks.
With the right equipment Kun could go to school independently. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $800 goes:
• Delivery and set-up: $185
• First-year servicing plan: $230
• Fitting and training sessions: $385
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.
