Joshua lives with cerebral palsy. The occupational therapist at Manchester General Hospital has assessed him and recommended a powered wheelchair. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $8,000. His current equipment is 10 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 10 weeks. With the right equipment Joshua could attend work interviews. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing. Where the $8,000 goes: • powered wheelchair: $7,250 • Fitting and training sessions: $260 • Delivery and set-up: $140 • First-year servicing plan: $350 Every share and every dollar helps. - Walter
