Deepa lives with multiple sclerosis. The occupational therapist at the Hyderabad Mobility Clinic has assessed her and recommended a powered wheelchair. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $650. Her current equipment is 9 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 8 weeks. With the right equipment Deepa could speak with the people around her. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing. Where the $650 goes: • powered wheelchair: $530 • Fitting and training sessions: $45 • Delivery and set-up: $20 • First-year servicing plan: $55 With deep gratitude, Amit

  • Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Deepa.

Powered wheelchair is $530 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. It helps to be asked.
