Carla lives with a rare neuromuscular condition. The occupational therapist at the Pretoria Rehabilitation Centre has assessed her and recommended a powered wheelchair. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,150.
Her current equipment is 9 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 3 weeks.
With the right equipment Carla could speak with the people around her. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Carla.
