Baptiste lives with multiple sclerosis. The occupational therapist at the Paris Mobility Clinic has assessed him and recommended a powered wheelchair. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $450. His current equipment is 8 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 12 weeks. With the right equipment Baptiste could get to the shops and visit friends. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered. Where the $450 goes: • First-year servicing plan: $200 • Delivery and set-up: $50 • Fitting and training sessions: $200 I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

  • hang in there. Hope the doctors have good news. I went through something like this 6 years ago and strangers helped me out. God bless.
