Mobility fund: pair of hearing aids for Sneha in Dwarka
Sneha needs a pair of hearing aids that the health system won't fund; the cost is $100.
🇮🇳 Dwarka, Delhi, India411 views
Sneha lives with cerebral palsy. The occupational therapist at the Dwarka Rehabilitation Centre has assessed her and recommended a pair of hearing aids. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $100.
Her current equipment is 11 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 5 weeks.
With the right equipment Sneha could attend work interviews. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $100 goes:
• Fitting and training sessions: $50
• Delivery and set-up: $15
• First-year servicing plan: $35
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.
