Zoya lives with profound hearing loss. The occupational therapist at Saint Petersburg General Hospital has assessed her and recommended a communication tablet with eye tracking. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,300.
Her current equipment is 14 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 10 weeks.
With the right equipment Zoya could attend work interviews. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $1,300 goes:

• Fitting and training sessions: $70
• Delivery and set-up: $40
• First-year servicing plan: $90
