Mobility fund: communication tablet with eye tracking for Oliver in Portland

Oliver lives with low vision from retinitis pigmentosa. The occupational therapist at the Portland Rehabilitation Centre has assessed him and recommended a communication tablet with eye tracking. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $700. His current equipment is 14 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 3 weeks. With the right equipment Oliver could attend work interviews. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
