Hyun-woo lives with a rare neuromuscular condition. The occupational therapist at the Gangnam Rehabilitation Centre has assessed him and recommended a communication tablet with eye tracking. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,750.
His current equipment is 10 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 7 weeks.
With the right equipment Hyun-woo could get to the shops and visit friends. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
