Mobility fund: communication tablet with eye tracking for Danjuma in Awka
Help Danjuma get a communication tablet with eye tracking so He can get to the shops and visit friends.
🇳🇬 Nigeria433 views
Danjuma lives with multiple sclerosis. The occupational therapist at the Awka Mobility Clinic has assessed him and recommended a communication tablet with eye tracking. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $100.
His current equipment is 12 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 10 weeks.
With the right equipment Danjuma could get to the shops and visit friends. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $100 goes:
• First-year servicing plan: $30
• Fitting and training sessions: $55
• Delivery and set-up: $15
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.
