Mobility fund: communication tablet with eye tracking for Comfort in Ogbomosho
A communication tablet with eye tracking would give Comfort independence - we're $1,150 away.

Comfort lives with a spinal cord injury. The occupational therapist at Ogbomosho General Hospital has assessed her and recommended a communication tablet with eye tracking. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,150.
Her current equipment is 12 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 3 weeks.
With the right equipment Comfort could go outside without waiting for someone to push. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $1,150 goes:
• communication tablet with eye tracking: $1,050
• Fitting and training sessions: $55
• Delivery and set-up: $10
• First-year servicing plan: $35
Thanks for being kind about this.

Thinking of you and your family, Hauwa. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Thinking of Ogbomosho.
Stay strong, Hauwa. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Greetings from Rochester.
