Wudil
Vivian lives with an amputation below the knee. The occupational therapist at the Wudil Rehabilitation Centre has assessed her and recommended a cochlear implant processor upgrade. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $950. Her current equipment is 12 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 3 weeks. With the right equipment Vivian could join the school sports day. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered. Where the $950 goes: • cochlear implant processor upgrade: $840 • Fitting and training sessions: $50 • Delivery and set-up: $15 • First-year servicing plan: $45 Thank you so much.
