Mobility fund: cochlear implant processor upgrade for Mark in Caloocan
Mark needs a cochlear implant processor upgrade that the health system won't fund; the cost is $900.

I live with a rare neuromuscular condition. My occupational therapist at the Caloocan Mobility Clinic has assessed me and recommended a cochlear implant processor upgrade. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $900.
My current equipment is 9 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 8 weeks.
With the right equipment I could go to school independently. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $900 goes:
• cochlear implant processor upgrade: $820
• First-year servicing plan: $45
• Fitting and training sessions: $35
With deep gratitude,
Mark
