Mobility fund: cochlear implant processor upgrade for Allan in Manila
Allan needs a cochlear implant processor upgrade that the health system won't fund; the cost is $100.

Allan lives with cerebral palsy. The occupational therapist at the Manila Rehabilitation Centre has assessed him and recommended a cochlear implant processor upgrade. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $100.
His current equipment is 10 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 12 weeks.
With the right equipment Allan could go outside without waiting for someone to push. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $100 goes:
• Delivery and set-up: $30
• Fitting and training sessions: $50
• First-year servicing plan: $20

Wishing you the best, Kevin. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Take care.
