Mobility fund: cochlear implant processor upgrade for Aarav in Varanasi
A cochlear implant processor upgrade would give Aarav independence - we're $100 away.
🇮🇳 Uttar Pradesh, India1,361 views
Aarav lives with a rare neuromuscular condition. The occupational therapist at the Varanasi Rehabilitation Centre has assessed him and recommended a cochlear implant processor upgrade. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $100.
His current equipment is 14 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 8 weeks.
With the right equipment Aarav could join the school sports day. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $100 goes:
• Delivery and set-up: $30
• Fitting and training sessions: $25
• First-year servicing plan: $45
Thank you so much.

Quick update: $25 raised so far (25%). the plan for first-year servicing plan is now scheduled. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.
