Mobility fund: braille note-taker for Mary in Zanzibar City
Mary needs a braille note-taker that the health system won't fund; the cost is $100.

Mary lives with profound hearing loss. The occupational therapist at Zanzibar City General Hospital has assessed her and recommended a braille note-taker. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $100.
Her current equipment is 15 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 8 weeks.
With the right equipment Mary could go outside without waiting for someone to push. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $100 goes:
• Delivery and set-up: $25
• Fitting and training sessions: $20
• First-year servicing plan: $55
