Mobility fund: braille note-taker for Louise in Rabat
A braille note-taker would give Louise independence - we are $1,150 away.
🇲🇦 Rabat, Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, Morocco1,005 views
Louise lives with multiple sclerosis. The occupational therapist at Rabat General Hospital has assessed her and recommended a braille note-taker. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,150.
Her current equipment is 9 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 7 weeks.
With the right equipment Louise could attend work interviews. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $1,150 goes:
• braille note-taker: $990
• Fitting and training sessions: $70
• Delivery and set-up: $25
• First-year servicing plan: $65
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

This could happen to any of us. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Thinking of Rabat.
Praying for you. Hope this works out for you. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend
Hang in there. Shared it with a few friends. We're a small family in Salvador but we're thinking of you. Take care.
