Mobility fund: braille note-taker for Josiane in Paris
Help Josiane get a braille note-taker so She can go outside without waiting for someone to push.

I live with muscular dystrophy. My occupational therapist at the Paris Rehabilitation Centre has assessed me and recommended a braille note-taker. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $2,550.
My current equipment is 15 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 7 weeks.
With the right equipment I could go outside without waiting for someone to push. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $2,550 goes:
• braille note-taker: $2,050
• Fitting and training sessions: $240
• Delivery and set-up: $75
• First-year servicing plan: $185
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
