Mobility fund: braille note-taker for Jericho in Cebu City
Jericho needs a braille note-taker that the health system won't fund; the cost is $1,250.

I live with a rare neuromuscular condition. My occupational therapist at the Cebu City Rehabilitation Centre has assessed me and recommended a braille note-taker. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,250.
My current equipment is 13 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 10 weeks.
With the right equipment I could go outside without waiting for someone to push. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $1,250 goes:
• braille note-taker: $1,150
• Fitting and training sessions: $45
• Delivery and set-up: $10
• First-year servicing plan: $45
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

hope it all works out, Jericho. Hope you get there
Best of luck. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry.
