Zhen lives with muscular dystrophy. The occupational therapist at Sydney General Hospital has assessed her and recommended an adapted tricycle. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $8,850.
Her current equipment is 14 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 10 weeks.
With the right equipment Zhen could go to school independently. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Zhen.
Sure. The biggest one is fitting and training sessions, $270. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Let me know if you want more detail.
