I live with a spinal cord injury. My occupational therapist at Warsaw General Hospital has assessed me and recommended an adapted tricycle. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $3,650.
My current equipment is 14 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 8 weeks.
With the right equipment I could speak with the people around him. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $3,650 goes:
• adapted tricycle: $3,400
• Fitting and training sessions: $85
• Delivery and set-up: $75
• First-year servicing plan: $90

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Wojciech
Adapted tricycle is $3,400 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. Happy to explain more.
