Mobility fund: adapted tricycle for William in St. Petersburg
Help William get an adapted tricycle so He can attend work interviews.
🇺🇸 United States1,129 views
William lives with multiple sclerosis. The occupational therapist at St. Petersburg General Hospital has assessed him and recommended an adapted tricycle. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $650.
His current equipment is 10 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 10 weeks.
With the right equipment William could attend work interviews. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $650 goes:
• Fitting and training sessions: $240
• Delivery and set-up: $240
• First-year servicing plan: $170
With deep gratitude,
Jordan
