Ruby lives with a rare neuromuscular condition. The occupational therapist at the Anaheim Rehabilitation Centre has assessed her and recommended an adapted tricycle. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $9,700.
Her current equipment is 9 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 8 weeks.
With the right equipment Ruby could go outside without waiting for someone to push. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.

• First-year servicing plan: $350
• Delivery and set-up: $100
