I live with cerebral palsy. My occupational therapist at the Los Angeles Mobility Clinic has assessed me and recommended an adapted tricycle. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $9,250. My current equipment is 10 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 8 weeks. With the right equipment I could join the school sports day. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing. Where the $9,250 goes: • adapted tricycle: $8,750 • Fitting and training sessions: $200 • Delivery and set-up: $140 • First-year servicing plan: $160 Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself. - Megan
