Mobility fund: adapted tricycle for Ashok in Jodhpur
An adapted tricycle would give Ashok independence - we're $150 away.
🇮🇳 Rajasthan, India1,442 views
Ashok lives with an amputation below the knee. The occupational therapist at Jodhpur General Hospital has assessed him and recommended an adapted tricycle. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $150.
His current equipment is 14 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 3 weeks.
With the right equipment Ashok could go outside without waiting for someone to push. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $150 goes:
• Delivery and set-up: $10
• First-year servicing plan: $60
• Fitting and training sessions: $80
