Mobility fund: adapted tricycle for Arif in Dhaka
An adapted tricycle would give Arif independence - we're $450 away.
🇧🇩 Dhaka, Dhaka, Bangladesh789 views
Arif lives with low vision from retinitis pigmentosa. The occupational therapist at Dhaka General Hospital has assessed him and recommended an adapted tricycle. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $450.
His current equipment is 11 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 6 weeks.
With the right equipment Arif could go to school independently. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $450 goes:
• adapted tricycle: $380
• Delivery and set-up: $20
• First-year servicing plan: $50
With deep gratitude,
Shima

Gave what I could, wish it was more. I'm in construction myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. All the best
Hope this works out for you. Put this on a community board in Pune this morning. Blessings.
