Mobility fund: adapted tricycle for Adi in Jerusalem
An adapted tricycle would give Adi independence - we are $6,450 away.
🇮🇱 Jerusalem, Israel3,670 views
Adi lives with an amputation below the knee. The occupational therapist at the Jerusalem Mobility Clinic has assessed her and recommended an adapted tricycle. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $6,450.
Her current equipment is 11 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 5 weeks.
With the right equipment Adi could get to the shops and visit friends. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $6,450 goes:
• adapted tricycle: $6,000
• Fitting and training sessions: $150
• Delivery and set-up: $150
• First-year servicing plan: $150
Thank you so much.
