Amsterdam

I earned a place in Form 4 at Amsterdam International School, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the mathematics course, and a uniform. My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $950, which is more than we have. I love mathematics and want to become a nurse. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours. I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard. I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything. Where the $950 goes: • Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $65 • Laptop: $660 • School uniform and shoes: $225 I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen. - Mirjam

Updates from Mirjam

Small update. $700 so far, the plan for school uniform and shoes is now scheduled.
Thank you all. We're at 57% now ($545). I'm honestly stunned. I made the first payment toward laptop.
Wanted to say thank you properly. 55% funded and I made the first payment toward calculator, stationery and a school bag.
