Milon's thyroid cancer treatment fund
4 rounds of treatment are planned at the Bogra Oncology Institute; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.

Milon was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in July. The oncology team at the Bogra Oncology Institute has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in October. He will be away from work for about 5 weeks.
Milon is 56, worked as a tailor until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Bogra Oncology Institute 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.

• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $620
• Scans and lab work: $85
• Transport to the Bogra Oncology Institute: $85
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $105
• Household costs while unable to work: $105

Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. chemotherapy and medication not covered comes first ($620) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Thanks, that means a lot.
