Milon's septoplasty can't wait - please help us cover the bill
A scheduled septoplasty in April is out of reach without help covering $800 of the cost.

In December I was diagnosed with a hip fracture that never healed properly. My surgeon at Savar University Hospital recommended septoplasty, and I have been placed on the schedule for April. The hospital's financial office gave me a written estimate of $1,050, and after what my employer's plan will pay, I'm still $800 short.
Doctors at Savar University Hospital told me a hip fracture that never healed properly will get worse without septoplasty. I work as a retail assistant, and I have saved what I can, but the estimate of $1,050 is far beyond what I've.
Until the surgery I can't work full days, and my hours as a retail assistant have already been cut. Every week of waiting means more pain and a bigger risk.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 10 weeks. I'll not be able to walk without help during that time, so this has become a financial emergency as well as a medical one.
I'll pay the hospital and pharmacy directly and post every receipt in the updates section.
Where the $800 goes:
• Physiotherapy sessions: $50
• Hospital stay (5 nights): $270
• Surgeon and anesthesia fees: $410
• Pre-operative tests and imaging: $70
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
