Milo's bloat: help with the vet bill
Milo, Elżbieta's German shepherd, needs urgent treatment for bloat costing $850.

Milo is my German shepherd of nine years. On 18 November we rushed to Kraków Veterinary Centre with bloat. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $850.
They have stabilized Milo, but the treatment can't wait beyond February.
Milo is more than a pet - Milo is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $130 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to Kraków Veterinary Centre and I'll share the invoice and an update on Milo's recovery.
Where the $850 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $340
• Hospitalization (2 nights): $290
• Medication and follow-up visits: $55
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $165
