Miguel's acute lymphoblastic leukemia treatment fund

Miguel was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in July. The oncology team at Louisville University Hospital has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in October. He will be away from work for about 8 weeks. Miguel is 54, worked as a shop owner until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Louisville University Hospital 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
