Michael's valve repair surgery can't wait - please help us cover the bill
A scheduled valve repair surgery in May is out of reach without help covering $4,900 of the cost.

Michael was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor in February. The surgeon at Dortmund Regional Medical Center recommended valve repair surgery, and He is scheduled for May. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $7,000, and after what my employer's plan will pay we're still $4,900 short.
my husband has been in and out of Dortmund Regional Medical Center since February. The doctors say a benign brain tumor will get worse without valve repair surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $7,000 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Michael struggles with daily life and can't stand for more than ten minutes. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 8 weeks. During that time Michael won't be able to stand for more than ten minutes, so the costs keep growing.
