Michael was diagnosed with a rare sarcoma in December. The oncology team at the Kingston Oncology Institute has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in March. He will be away from work for about 7 weeks. Michael is 32, worked as a bank teller until December, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Kingston Oncology Institute 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
