Mia needs a lift to San Jose Regional Medical Center - can you help one day a week?

Mia needs dialysis three times a week and has lost the ability to drive; volunteer drivers can each take one day.

Mia has been on dialysis for 4 years and until recently drove to San Jose Regional Medical Center alone. After an eyesight problem, Mia can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week. We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 4 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 23 km each way. Mia is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food. Please say which day works for you in the comments. I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
