Mert needs my taxi repaired to get back to work in Konya
Without my taxi Mert can't work; a $300 repair would put him back on the road.

I make my living with my taxi. 10 weeks ago the engine head gasket failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $300. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my wife and our newborn. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $300 goes:
• Labor charges: $50
• Towing and inspection: $35
• engine head gasket replacement (parts): $215
Thank you for reading my story.

Hope it all works out, Mert. Hope you get there. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Take care.
I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. Wish I lived closer to Athens so I could bring a meal. Take care.
praying for you. Hope you get there. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Love from Bursa.
Small businesses are the heart of Konya. Hope you're open again soon. After 21 years in accounting I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Take care
