Mercy needs a prosthetic leg - help us make it happen
Help Mercy get a prosthetic leg so She can speak with the people around her.
🇵🇭 Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines980 views
Mercy lives with a rare neuromuscular condition. The occupational therapist at Quezon City General Hospital has assessed her and recommended a prosthetic leg. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,050.
Her current equipment is 10 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 10 weeks.
With the right equipment Mercy could speak with the people around her. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $1,050 goes:
• First-year servicing plan: $25
• Delivery and set-up: $35
• prosthetic leg: $990
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

So sorry you're going through this. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Greetings from Spokane.
Wishing you peace, Cecilia. Get well soon. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust.
Sending good thoughts, Cecilia. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Thinking of Quezon City.
Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. All the best.
Hope it all works out, Cecilia. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. After 18 years in retail I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
