Mental health support for Tejaswini after military deployment
After military deployment, Tejaswini has been on a waiting list for months - private therapy is the only option, and the cost is $400.

After military deployment, I've struggled with anxiety, sleep and panic attacks. My doctor has referred me to weekly cognitive behavioral therapy, but the public waiting list is 8 months, and private sessions at a private practice in Bhopal cost $15 each.
I have been honest with my employer and taken some time off, but I can't keep going without support.
Therapy has already helped a little in the sessions I could afford. My therapist recommends 16 weekly sessions, and I know that consistent help will make the difference.
Asking for help with this has been the hardest part, and I'm grateful for your kindness without judgment.
The money will be paid directly to the counselor's practice, with a session-by-session record.
Where the $400 goes:
• 16 therapy sessions: $340
• Psychiatric assessment: $35
• Workbook and resources: $25
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Sending strength. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I'm in retail myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you!
any update on how things are going in Bhopal?
Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. Don't give up. Blessings!
is there anything that isn't money that would help Tejaswini?
Thank you. If you're in Bhopal I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great. Thanks for asking.
Stay strong, Tejaswini. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too.
Take care, Tejaswini. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. I have a 7 year old who wants to send good wishes too. God bless
Thinking of you. Get well soon. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Love from Epe.
Good luck. Hope the doctors have good news. I hope February is when things finally get easier.
