After a house fire, Michael has struggled with anxiety, sleep and panic attacks. The doctor has referred him to EMDR therapy, but the public waiting list is 11 months, and private sessions at the Belfast Counselling Collective cost $80 each. Michael has been honest with his employer and taken some time off, but can't keep going without support. Therapy has already helped a little in the sessions Michael could afford. The therapist recommends 20 weekly sessions, and consistent help will make the difference. Asking for help with this has been the hardest part for Michael, and we're grateful for your kindness without judgment. Funds cover only therapy sessions, and I'll share progress updates (not private details) if I'm comfortable. Where the $1,550 goes: • 20 therapy sessions: $1,200 • Psychiatric assessment: $330 • Workbook and resources: $20 I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
