Mental health support for Mercedes after military deployment

After military deployment, Mercedes has struggled with anxiety, sleep and panic attacks. The doctor has referred her to EMDR therapy, but the public waiting list is 11 months, and private sessions at the San Jose Counselling Collective cost $125 each. Mercedes has been honest with her employer and taken some time off, but can't keep going without support. Therapy has already helped a little in the sessions Mercedes could afford. The therapist recommends 10 weekly sessions, and consistent help will make the difference.
