Mental health support for Luigi after military deployment
After military deployment, Luigi has been on a waiting list for months - private therapy is the only option, and the cost is $1,400.

After military deployment, I've struggled with anxiety, sleep and panic attacks. My doctor has referred me to a structured recovery program, but the public waiting list is 8 months, and private sessions at a private practice in Bari cost $55 each.
I have been honest with my employer and taken some time off, but I can't keep going without support.
Therapy has already helped a little in the sessions I could afford. My therapist recommends 24 weekly sessions, and I know that consistent help will make the difference.
Asking for help with this has been the hardest part, and I'm grateful for your kindness without judgment.
The money will be paid directly to the counselor's practice, with a session-by-session record.
Where the $1,400 goes:
• 24 therapy sessions: $1,250
• Psychiatric assessment: $120
• Workbook and resources: $30
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Sending love, Luigi. Wishing Luigi a smooth procedure and a full recovery. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. All the best.
Thinking of you, Luigi. Hope you get there. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Love from Madurai.
Praying for you, Luigi. Hope this works out for you.
Wishing you peace, Luigi. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. All the best.
Keep going, Luigi. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick
