After the loss of my brother, I've struggled with anxiety, sleep and panic attacks. My doctor has referred me to EMDR therapy, but the public waiting list is 8 months, and private sessions at a private practice in Los Angeles cost $100 each. I have been honest with my employer and taken some time off, but I can't keep going without support. Therapy has already helped a little in the sessions I could afford. My therapist recommends 10 weekly sessions, and I know that consistent help will make the difference. Asking for help with this has been the hardest part, and I'm grateful for your kindness without judgment. Funds cover only therapy sessions, and I'll share progress updates (not private details) if I'm comfortable. Where the $1,550 goes: • 10 therapy sessions: $1,050 • Psychiatric assessment: $460 • Workbook and resources: $40 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
