After burnout at work, Josiah has struggled with anxiety, sleep and panic attacks. The doctor has referred him to weekly cognitive behavioral therapy, but the public waiting list is 11 months, and private sessions at a private practice in San Francisco cost $110 each. Josiah has been honest with his employer and taken some time off, but can't keep going without support. Therapy has already helped a little in the sessions Josiah could afford. The therapist recommends 24 weekly sessions, and consistent help will make the difference. Asking for help with this has been the hardest part for Josiah, and we're grateful for your kindness without judgment. Funds cover only therapy sessions, and I'll share progress updates (not private details) if I'm comfortable. Where the $1,350 goes: • 24 therapy sessions: $910 • Psychiatric assessment: $390 • Workbook and resources: $50 Thank you for reading my story. - Micah

  • Stay strong, Micah. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. God bless

    • Good luck, Micah. Wishing Josiah a smooth procedure and a full recovery. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry.

      • Hope things get better soon, Micah. Gave what I could, wish it was more. I have a 6 year old who wants to send good wishes too.

        • get well soon. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. All the best!

          • Thinking of you and your family, Micah. It takes guts to ask. Well done.
