Mental health support for Jacob after military deployment
After military deployment, Jacob has been on a waiting list for months - private therapy is the only option, and the cost is $2,100.

After military deployment, I've struggled with anxiety, sleep and panic attacks. My doctor has referred me to trauma-focused CBT, but the public waiting list is 6 months, and private sessions at Los Angeles Wellbeing Centre cost $65 each.
I have been honest with my employer and taken some time off, but I can't keep going without support.
Therapy has already helped a little in the sessions I could afford. My therapist recommends 10 weekly sessions, and I know that consistent help will make the difference.
Asking for help with this has been the hardest part, and I'm grateful for your kindness without judgment.
Funds cover only therapy sessions, and I'll share progress updates (not private details) if I'm comfortable.
Where the $2,100 goes:
• 10 therapy sessions: $1,600
• Psychiatric assessment: $440
• Workbook and resources: $60
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

it takes guts to ask. Well done. Greetings from Cincinnati!
hang in there, Jacob. Your post was clear and honest. Wish I lived closer to Tlaquepaque so I could bring a meal. God bless
hang in there, Jacob. I hope things turn around soon. Wish I lived closer to Entebbe so I could bring a meal
Best of luck. I hope things turn around soon. Thinking of Los Angeles.
Sending love, Jacob. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too.
