After a car accident, Auma has struggled with anxiety, sleep and panic attacks. The doctor has referred her to family counseling, but the public waiting list is 8 months, and private sessions at the Mwanza Counselling Collective cost $20 each.
Auma has been honest with her employer and taken some time off, but can't keep going without support.
Therapy has already helped a little in the sessions Auma could afford. The therapist recommends 16 weekly sessions, and consistent help will make the difference.
